New show!
So we’re expanding the empire! Today we’ll tape 5 epsiodes of a new show called Gadgets & Gizmos. The 30-minute show will feature Marc Saltzman as host (in Canada you might have seen him on Global or CNN).
Amber and I will share co-hosting duties on alternating shows. It’ll feature quick looks at new gadgets, in depth product reviews, a field segment by the very lovely and charming Pay Chen, who you may have seen on Omni 1 & 2 (in Ontario). She’ll cover gadget culture.
Besides co-hosting, Amber and I will also do product roundups at the bottom of each show. For example, I’ll be taking a look at Blackberry alternative gadgets and fashion mobile phones in the first segments I do.
One of the show’s staffers will cover off their fave DVD, blog, music download or website on each show. So in this segment you’ll see tech researcher Mikey, gadget researcher Sean, producer Katya or associate producer Matt.
We’re slated to do 45 episodes by mid summer. You should see the first episode air on G4techtvCanada in April. So far the show will only air in Canada.

Wondrous news! Congratulations, Andy! I think this’ll be a great addition to the lineup, and I’m only saddened by the fact that I won’t be able to tune in! No worries though, I’ll move! ^_^

Thic is great news. With G4TV going almost exclusively gaming, tech based shows are essential .

Sounds like a Canadian version of TechLive. Yay! Pour it on. Attack of the Show finally liad the name The ScreenSavers to rest. It’s nice to see real tech on TV…. The most tech we get in the States are Dell ads. So much for US G4!

Trevor, you could romp across the border get a bell expressview dish and hook it up. my freind in detroit does it and he gets Tech Tv canada.
Andy, The new show sounds great, i cant wait to see it. keep us posted on when it will air.
