1)Bloggerâ€â€We find it’s hard to keep this blog up to date. So we’re looking for someone with good writing skills to become our LabRats.tv blogger. The volunteer would drop Sean and I an email once a week or so and see what’s up with the LabRats project. It would be helpful if you are in Toronto as you can come to the Labrats shoot as well. But not absolutely necessary. We’ll also ask you from time to time to check in with Matt our director and Maurice our associate producer for other ideas for posts and news.
2) Production Assistantâ€â€Also looking for a Toronto-based production assistant who can commit to coming out to the LabRats shoots twice a month and learn camera, sound and producing and help with setup. It’s helpful if you have a car to get to our shoots in Etobicoke, however the MIMICO GO train station is 10 mins walking distance.
3) Marketing directorâ€â€We need someone to take charge in getting the word out about LabRats. That means getting us nominated for awards, inspiring viewers to help spread the word, coordinate contests, arrange t-shirts and giveaways and come up with interesting and exciting ways to promote the podcast. If you would love this opportunity to use your imagination and marketing savvy and learn more about the inner workings of a video podcast then we’d like to talk to you.
All positions are volunteer, and we need a minimum 6 month commitment from you.
If any of these positions interest you, please drop me a note at andy at labrats dot tv expressing your interest, location, availablity and experience, if applicable.
