IE7
Just a heads up that it looks like Microsoft will release Internet Explorer 7 this summer (2005) that will include tabbed browsing. The new browser will later include a security feature to thwart browser hijackers. IE7 will use a feature they are calling “low rights IE”…this esssentially takes away Administrator rights from the browser so its hard to autoinstall programs downloaded via the web without explicit permission. This low rights browsing feature will be available only on the next version of Windows, code-named Longhorn.

Ironically the Manager of the IE Project visited our University at Mayagüez and that was one of my complaints to him. That visit was around three months ago - seems that he heard it.
